A mummy is a deceased human or animal whose skin and organs have been preserved by exposure to chemicals, extreme cold. very low humidity or lack of air. There are two types of mummies Anthropocentric and Spontaneous Anthropocentric mummies were created by humans for various reasons, mostly for religious purposes Spontaneous mummies on the other hand are formed because of natural conditions like extreme cold or heat or anaerobic conditions Mummies prepared by humans can be found all over the world.
