The Little Boy and the Cat

Once upon a time a little boy lived with his mother in a small hut in the town.

The townsfolk called him a fool as he did not go to school like the other children.

One day a big car stopped at the marketplace. A rich man and his daughter got down from the car. The girl had a pet cat with her.

We live in the city. We came to buy fresh fruits,” said the rich man. As he was buying some fruits, the cat jumped down from the girl’s arms and ran up a tree. “Jingle, come down, come down!” cried the girl. But the cat did not come down.
